What is ChatGLM?
ChatGLM is an AI chatbot developed by the Chinese company Zhipu AI, built on its GLM series of large language models. It offers a conversational assistant for Chinese-speaking users to ask questions, write content and get help with study and work, and was among the earlier widely used Chinese chatbots.
The chatbot supports text and image inputs, web search, document analysis and coding assistance, and is available as a website and mobile app for both personal and professional use. ChatGLM is one of several major Chinese AI chatbots competing with products from Baidu, Alibaba and ByteDance for everyday and professional use, and Zhipu has also released related models under its international Z.ai brand.
